My academic foundation is in Industrial Product Design (BSc) and Strategic Product Design (MSc, cum laude), both earned at Delft University of Technology. Now, almost fifteen years and two emigrations later, I combine my work as a behavioural researcher, strategy consultant, and high-performance sports coach from Cape Town. I use behavioural science to design systems in which people can grow and excel, in business, sport, and social impact, especially when the pressure is on.

 

In business, I’ve helped leaders at Intel, ING Bank, FedEx and Standard Bank navigate major shifts in society; built Yoco’s Customer Insights & Experience practices, transforming how innovation happens and earning recognition as one of Africa’s top fintechs; and partnered with TTEC to strengthen leadership culture, social impact strategy and Gen Z engagement worldwide.

 

In sport, I led UCT Rowing to back-to-back National titles, represented South Africa at the World University Championships, and was named UCT Sports Coach of the Year 2024. As part of Coastal Rowing South Africa’s National Coaching Team, I designed the programs that powered the squad to nine medals at the 2025 African Beach Sprint Championships. I also serve as Head Coach at PGRC, building South Africa’s leading girls’ rowing program and shaping the next generation of high-performance female athletes.
